mobilEEnigma is a application to safely cipher or encrypt any plain text typed in smartphone devices like iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Mobil.
With mobilEEnigma this is very easy to do: just type in
your plain text, select a secret password or pass phrase then, by
pressing the Cipher menu option, the plain text will be ciphered and
copied to the device's memory, ready to be pasted into another
application like SMS, email, notes, etc...

The plain text area is where you type in your plain text, or copy it. At the bottom of the screen you will find the password or the pass phrase entry that you have to type. The bottom menu bar is where you will find different options, Cipher, Email, Decipher and Clear. |

Just like any text editor, you may type as much plain text as you want.
If you need to type a very long text, we suggest using officEEnigma directly from your
Desktop. We also provide an online version called: onlinEEnigma. This version provides the
cipher tools directly from your Browser.
To get a new line, use the period (.) as shown in the example.

Select a secret password or pass phrase. (Use any combination of text, digits, symbols or spaces with a length limit of 256 characters.)
The key to cipher security is a unique key that only you select. Using a pass phrase may provide superior security than a small password. We suggest that you take your time deciding the best password or pass phrase for your purposes. Please note, there is no functionality to save the password or pass phrase in your device. If mobilEEnigma has been installed through iTunes, the password will be limited to a maximum of 8 characters. The reason for this is, iTunes Store cannot export outside of the USA an application using a symmetric key higher then 64 bits (8 characters) password key. To get the privilege to use the 2048 bits, 256 characters pass phrase key, you must request an Ad Hoc version for lock iPhone, then install it on iPhone devices using the iTunes software from Apple or download the Release Version if your iPhone is unlock. To request the Ad Hoc version, send your email at: adhoc@mobileenigma.com, and we will communicate with you shortly. |

After you have finished typing your text and have selected a secret password or pass phrase,
just use the Cipher menu option and mobilEEnigma will cipher your plain text and copy it for you to the device memory.
At this point, the cipher text is already copied to the device's memory and is ready to be pasted to any application such as email, SMS, notes, etc... You may use the Email menu option to launch the email application of your device and automatically add the Cipher text in your email body. |

To Decipher the ciphered text, just select it inside the application in use, copy it to the device's memory,
start mobilEEnigma, then enter the secret password or pass phrase previously used to cipher the original text.
Then, select the Decipher menu option and the cipher text will be deciphered and pasted to the plain text section. After reading your plain message text, clear any field by using the Clear menu option. By using the Decipher menu option, no plain text is copied to shared memory. The plain text must be manually pasted to another application. |
